Geopark Snorkel Safari
Guided snorkel over kelp forests and reefs at Greencastle, Carlingford Lough
Step off the shore and into a world of ancient geology and vibrant marine life. The Geopark Snorkel Safari is a guided underwater expedition that shows off the biodiversity of the Mourne coastline. It takes place in the sheltered, clear waters of Greencastle Beach, on the County Down side of Carlingford Lough.
Glide over kelp forests, find hidden rocky reefs and learn about the ecosystem of the Mourne Gullion Strangford UNESCO Global Geopark. An expert Oceanauts guide leads the way, and you don't need a tank to enjoy it.
